Different styles of Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese acupuncture is known to focus on general balancing of the meridians to not only support a sense of overall wellbeing and relaxation but also to bring the body back into balance.

Orthopedic acupuncture is designed for the specific treatment of pain and conditions related to the spine, joints, discs, nerves, muscles, tendons and ligaments. Our goal is to restore neurological balance in the body, which in turn restores normal function to the supporting structures and tissue. With the right diagnosis and treatment, changes can occur rapidly. Muscles get stronger and movement improves as postural support is balanced. Pain lessens and life becomes more enjoyable. Orthopedic testing will evaluate which structures are inhibited and whose function needs to be restored in order to achieve balance.

Electro acupuncture uses different frequencies to help with acute and chronic pain, anxiety and depression, regulate physiological functions of organs and more.

Auricular acupuncture uses active points in the ear (which can be measured with an electrical device) to regulate pain, mental emotional stress and organ function.

Japanese style acupuncture is a very gentle technique using very shallow insertion of very fine needles.
